The ability to create bold colors and whimsical charm in everyday items is my inspiration.

I started learning ceramics and quickly gravitated toward porcelain and unique color creations that provide lighter hues of varying colors. Most of my ceramics are hand built, functional pieces. I spend my time working on what inspires me and creating pieces I’d love to have in my own home.

When a fellow artist suggested pursuing glass fusing, I took the path of formal training and have attended numerous classes from world renown glass artists. Glass fusing is a relatively new art form, yet the flexibility and numerous techniques make for endless possibilities to create bold colorful pieces.

I enjoy working with both mediums but the learning curve with glass fusing provides a much greater challenge to master all the techniques.

It just depends on the day if it’s ceramics or glass.
